The Southern Artisan Christmas Fete is once again locked in for a premier pre-Christmas shopping extravaganza! This years fete is on Saturday 23rd November 2024 so get a group together for quality artisan shopping from all over the country set in a beautiful garden setting with a fantastic atmosphere. The Southern Artisan Christmas Fête is held within the beautiful gardens of The Hideaway 201 - just 5 minutes out of Winton - central to all of Southland and a must-see for garden and shopping enthusiasts. See www.thehideaway201.co.nz A great vibe and a fantastic selection of quality artisan stallholders from all over the South Island make this an outing not to be missed. Shop for gifts and handmade wares that you won't see anywhere else from a huge line up of exhibitors - homewares, Christmas gifts, art & sculpture, garden plants, womens and childrens clothing, jewellery, linen, homewares and outdoor furniture. A perfect start to your Christmas shopping or just to enjoy a day out in the country coupled with hand selected quality gifts, live music, Pimms, local produce and delicious artisan food such as woodfired pizza, paella, crispy chicken skewers, local pickles and honey and delicious sweet treats. Each year new exhibitors are added to the fête so don't miss checking out these fabulous new stallholders on the stallholder page. The Hideaway restaurant & Boardroom will be open on-site in the garden on the day of the fete for lunch, platters, cocktails & coffee (no bookings sorry). Live music by Jet Set Duo and Little Eygpt Duo plays throughout the day so you can sit back, relax and enjoy the atmosphere. Each year local music is played from the deck of the house in the food area. The fête will be held regardless of weather, so pack a brolly and gumboots or sunhat and sunblock accordingly. No dogs or BYO picnics please and parking is on site. There will be Eftpos facilities on site and some stallholders have mobile eftpos but cash is always handy and makes things easier! The fete will be held on Saturday, 23rd November 2024 from 10am-4pm at The Hideaway 201, just 5 minutes out of Winton and 20 minutes out of Invercargill, off the main Invercargill-Winton highway at Lochiel.
