How much does it cost to enter the Southern Artisan Christmas Fete?
$20 gate entry on the day or you can be super organised and pre-purchase your gate entry ticket or a $50 gourmet lunch box ticket including a glass of bubbles. See the ticket tab for purchasing options. Under 15 are free.
How will I find my way around?
On entry you will be given a map of the fete layout with a numbered stallholder list and also showing toilets, eftpos, first aid and the restaurant location.
Is the fete on rain or shine?
Yes! We have had all weathers over the 16 years that the fete has been running and it still happens rain or shine! So come out regardless and support all the NZ made stallholders that will be there ready and waiting for you whatever the weather! Come prepared accordingly - brolly and gumboots or hat and sunscreen.
Is there plenty of parking?
Yes there is lots of free parking! You will be directed by the fabulous Winton Lions clubs who do a brilliant job of traffic management. We have disabled parking close to the entrance, please advise one of our traffic marshals if this is required.
Are there toilets within the garden?
Yes, we have plenty of port-a-loo toilets located throughout the fete and disabled toilets are located behind the big marque or inside the restaurant.
Can I bring a picnic?
No sorry, we have a delicious line up of food vendors all with a range of fresh yummy food for all taste buds - from fried chicken skewers and paella to sweet treats and coffee. Tables and chairs are set up around the food area for you to eat, relax and enjoy the live music.
Are there alcoholic drinks on site?
Yes, we have the lovely Pimms ladies as well as Rifters Gin and Auld Distillery all ready to pour you a refreshing beverage! The restaurant is also open with full bar service. Other bottled alcoholic drinks will be on sale on fete day for you to purchase and take home.
Do you have eftpos facilities?
Some do but many stallholders don't have Eftpos so cash is the best! Please try and bring some cash with you to be ready to shop as soon as you arrive. Eftpos cash out is available at the Eftpos tent up near the house.
Can I bring a bus or van?
Yes definitely - the more the merrier! We have parking for large buses or coaches and if it's easier you can prebook your tickets for a large group to make it quicker and easier for entry on fete day.
Can I bring my dog?
No sorry - unless you need a guide dog then leave your pooch at home.
